Comedy Central's animated series "Ugly Americans" is created by Devin Clark and developed from a series of shorts he did for Comedy Central's website called 5 On. I worked on them with Devin in recording and sound designing. 5 On was a man-on-the-street, talk-of-the-town program interviewing 5 somethings (zombies, aliens...) on current events. BOXHEAD AND ROUNDHEAD "THE THING IN THE DISTANCE"

The next short film in Elliot Cowan's Boxhead And Roundhead series is dark and mysterious adventure for the fellows and I am proud to help cloud it up with my sound design contributions. The film recently won a Golden Pencil Award at the prestigious 2D Or Not 2D Festival in Seattle, Washington.:

The next in the Dan Meth animation domination that I get to contribute to is "Special Features," a series of cartoons for Comedy Central's Atom.com. The first episode is a re-imagining of the new Star Trek prequel, but as an 80's/90's teen movie. Aside from the sound design, that's me as Bones and a bullying Klingon.

PLAYBOY'S PLAY-MATION NATION

Yes, Playboy is also trying to get in on internet comedy cartoons with their Play-Mation Nation site. Dan Meth's "Big Apple Fornicators" did give me the chance to create the sound of mutant male genitalia, an opportunity I will likely not repeat. And if that's not disturbing enough, how about a computer store clerk who is also an unlikely authority on sex?

Synthetic American is the film making outlet of Nathan Ryan, a long time friend of W222 Radio. The most recent SA release is Murder FM, a film about murder at radio statio, WNTR, sister station of W222. Much of it was filmed at W222 Studios, as was the post-audio work. You can see the trailer here, the entire film here or watch the embedded clip with some nifty action sound. And also the acting skills of yours truly, announcing the eponymous on-air death.

ORPHAN FEAST, Starring Creaky Tom

I did the sound work for an on-line video game, Orphan Feast. In it, you can be Creaky Tom, a creep old guy who goes around stuffing urchins into a sack to eat later!

Here's another animation from Dan Meth. It was done originally for the Starz cable channel. It was for their website, but I don't think they ever used it. It is still funny. Not only did I help him with the sound, but I got to be Kubrick. The "funny" is all Dan.

SUPER BABIES

Here is a preview/trailer-type clip for a animated series called "SuperBabies." It was supposedly a little pilot/example that was for Queen Latifah's development company (that's not her voice in the clip). It never got that far. The project was dropped before they even finished this video. And SuperBabies became the title for Baby Geniuses 2.

But I did get paid to do some cool sound design for it.

PEEPER RADIO THEATER

When friends Jeff Somogyi and Dave Pietrandria decided they liked old-time radio comedy programs so much as to make them for the internet, I was all aboard. We were fairly prolific for a while there.
